Some of the baggage of the Fringe has been let go, though I guess other things have replaced it. So no more Roller Derby, not that it wasn't something people could see without the Fringe. But, apparently there is now a Kanawake Roller Derby team, according to Kahnawake Sports Complex gets turf, but they are apparently having problems finding a place to play because of that turf. Anyway, it's the Kanawake Wagon Burners so watch out for them. There's a Metis woman who blogs about Metis issues, and she's apparently on one of the local Roller Derby teams.
