There's been a lot of flack over the years from some demonizing McAuslan Breweries for "owning the Fringe". That group has made it sound like the company is the most horrible and massive multinational corporation on the earth, when it's just a small brewery, however successful. But it would seem some of that group has recanted. Recently there was this piece, Folk Fest Preview: Bluegrass Royalty and Urban Camping at Forget the Box and it says "Thanks to McAuslan brewer, who brew the most wonderful rose cider and are ardent supporters of local arts". So apparently it's not an evil multinational corporation. The important thing is, the website was started by one of the people who started that other festival.
